THE CLARENDON INN specializes in weddings and group events.
Your friends and family can book entire Inn and use all 11 rooms including the BONUS ROOM which can be used to relax and watch TV, play games, have meetings or even host a reception. Most of our wedding parties use the BONUS ROOM to get dressed, hang out, and as a gathering space before the big events. The Bonus room can be used until 11 pm.

Walking distance to the river and restaurants makes it very convenient. I recommend this place to all. Do not be fooled by the low price; they should be charging a lot more!

We booked the entire place for my wedding; my groomsmen and my wife's bridesmaids all stayed there. The rooms were clean and beautifully appointed.Where this place truly exceeds, however, is the impeccable service. Michael, the innkeeper is such a nice guy and he got me out of a jam by procuring a loudspeaker system at the last minute for our rehearsal dinner. He was accommodating and helpful to our wedding party all weekend. Breakfast was great, even though many of our party slept through it both Saturday and Sunday morning! He and his wife put so many personal touches into the weekend. We all agreed that anytime we need a place to stay (or need to put someone up) in Wilmington, The Clarendon will be the first place we call.
